Representatives by eight votes. Those eight votes, lead by Chris Smith, were cast by Republicans and are directly responsible for the passing of this bill.
It’s time that we get serious about the economic challenges facing our country. Cap and Trade promises to bring massive job loss, aggressively increase our utility bills and result in skyrocketing prices on everything we consume – food, toiletries, paper goods, gasoline and so on. Under this bill, homeowners could be forced to retrofit their homes with “energy efficient” furnaces, windows and appliances to meet federal “green” guidelines in order to sell their homes. It is estimated that home owners may have to spend up to $30,000 to meet these standards. This will make it nearly impossible to take care of and financially support our families. Our basic needs are now under attack – that’s inhumane – and we have Chris Smith to Blame.

The reality of successful Congressional campaigns is that it takes money to buy the materials necessary to reach every voter and inform them of Smith’s left wing voting record. The campaign needs to buy signs, print & mail letters, buy radio & TV advertising and more. Campaigns, like any business, have to purchase these services. They cost tens of thousands of dollars.
If I can’t buy these items, it would be the equivalent of sending soldiers into a battle without ammunition. I cannot send the Tea Party volunteers into the district without handouts or the air support provided by radio and TV.
You may be surprised to learn that the Republican National Committee (RNC) does not help congressional candidates. They spend their money on presidential and other high profile races. And, as we have seen recently, they waste their money on lavish parties and trips.
If everyone in the Tea Party movement gave $100, I would have enough money to win. Unfortunately, only a handful of members have stepped up and donated. The Tea Party is Being Tested
Many of the Tea Party Supported Candidates have either dropped out or not received the party’s endorsement because they have been under-funded.
The Tea Party’s viability as an organization is being tested with this election. Will the Tea Party be able to bring a candidate to victory and therefore, be a “force to be reckoned with”?

Most people do not know the real Chris Smith. The people need to be informed about Chris Smith’s thirty-year record of left-wing votes that rank him as the most liberal Republican in the House. The people also need to know about his ties to special interests.
Chris Smith is Big Labor’s #1 “Republican” ally. They fully fund his campaigns year after year. The Service Employees International
SEIU are the union thugs in Purple Shirts who’ve been trying to disrupt “Tea Party” meetings. They’re the left-wing zealots leading the fight for President Obama and Nancy Pelosi’s socialist agenda which has lead to a government takeover of health care, banking and the auto industries.
In exchange for SEIU’s money and tens of thousands of dollars from other big unions, Smith gladly voted for Cap and Trade, co-sponsored Card Check, voted twice against extending the 2001/2003 tax cuts and on, and on, and on.
